Apple MacBook vs ASUS T300 Chi

Apple announced the latest MacBook with Retina display at its own “Spring Forward” event in San Francisco on 9th March.

The new MacBook (no more MacBook Air) is the world’s thinnest and lightest laptop! 13.1mm thin and just 920g weight.

The 12-inch Retina display sports 2304 x 1440 resolution at 226 pixels per inch. Other important hardware specs are Intel’s latest Core M fan-less Dual core processor, 8GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256 PCIe-based storage and Intel HD5300 graphics.

Apple’s New MacBook comes with only ONE port which is the latest USB Type-C. This USB Type-C cable can transfer data at a top speed 5 gigabits per second (Gbps) and maximum power output is 20 Volts. It’s backward compatible and bidirectional.

Here I have compared the the ASUS Transformer Book T300 Chi Windows 8.1 two in one which has the same hardware specification of the new MacBook. It is almost a MacBook killer device.

ASUS Transformer Book T300 sports 12.5-inch touch screen with the 2560 x 1440 pixels, Intel’s latest Core M fan-less processor and HD 5300 graphics.
