ASUS announced Windows 10 powered Vivo Stick at IFA show in Berlin, Germany.
Earlier in January, Intel unveiled the Compute Stick at CES 2015. But Compute Sick runs on Windows 8.1 and Intel’s Bay Trail processor. However, ASUS managed to load Windows 10 Home version on its Vivo Stick with the latest Intel’s Cherry Trail Atom processor. So sound looks good.
This beautiful Vivo Stick boasts 2GB of RAM and up to 32GB eMCP flash storage. The very clever move is, ASUS managed to add two USB ports. Yes one USB 2.0 port and one USB 3.0 port. So it’ll definitely help users to add more components.
Not only two USB ports, ASUS did not forget the headphone jack or 3.5mm Audio jack which is extremely welcome addition to the HDMI dongles.
Micro USB connector for power, 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity. It’s all mounted on a dongle that plugs into your HDMI port display (either TV or monitor)
Size of this tiny stick is 138mm x 15mm x 14mm and weight is 70g. The Vivo Stick comes in multiple colours. ASUS did not announce the availability date but indicated the price that would be USD.129.
